A directory is easy. A verified introduction is worth paying for.
Anyone can publish a page of vendor names. The trouble starts at the deposit — the photographer who was never insured, the DJ whose gear got held at customs, the florist who took the money and stopped answering.
So before a name reaches you, an advisor has confirmed in writing: who owns or is authorised to sell the service, what it costs all-in, what is included, the deposit and cancellation terms, current insurance, and two client references by telephone. If a vendor is vague about any of it, you never hear their name.
You pay one company, on one schedule, with one person answerable to you. That is the arrangement.
