Gwynevere-Arthur Royal Escapes

Partners & contractors

The best work, paid on time, briefed properly.

We are building the Royal Escapes partner book region by region — photographers and cinematographers, hair and makeup artists, stylists and seamstresses, florists and lighting designers, chefs and pastry artists, DJs and bands, drivers and charter captains, producers, live painters, perfumers and nannies.

If you are good at what you do and properly covered, we want you on our list. Applying is free and takes about six minutes.

Why partner with us

Six things we put in writing.

You are paid from money we already hold

We collect from the client and hold it. When your instalment falls due we pay it from funds that are already in hand — we are not waiting to be paid before we pay you. Deposits on contracting, the balance within fourteen days of delivery.

One brief, one client contact, no chasing

You get a written brief with dates, headcount, access, power, timings, dietary and the run of show. Questions go to one advisor, not to eight family members on a group chat.

No bidding wars, no pay-to-list

We do not put you in a ring with nine others to win one job, and we never charge you to be in the book. When your specialty comes up for those dates, we call the people we trust.

Your work is credited, with your permission

We ask in writing before we use an image, we credit you when we do, and you can withdraw permission. Your net rates are never shown to a client, and your client list is never shared.

Scope changes get repriced, in writing

If the client adds forty guests or moves the ceremony indoors, that is a change order with a number on it — not something you are expected to absorb because the day is emotional.

We fight fraud properly

Bank details are verified by voice call to a number we already hold, never from an email. It protects your money as much as ours.

How partners are paid

You choose the model that suits your business. Both are set out in the Vendor & Partner Agreement before any work is booked.

ModelHow it worksSuits you if
Net rateYou give us your trade rate. We add our own margin and present a single price to the client. You are paid your rate in full, on schedule, whatever we charged. You would rather not publish your pricing, and you want a clean fixed number.
CommissionYou publish your own price. We book at that price and you remit an agreed percentage to us after the event — typically 10–15% depending on the category.Your pricing is already public and you would rather keep the client relationship visible.

The payment schedule

One honest caveat, because we would rather you read it here than find it in clause 9: our obligation to pay an instalment is conditional on our having received the corresponding funds from the client. We collect before we commit, which is precisely why this is rarely an issue — but we are not going to pretend the condition is not there.

A person reads every one of these. If you look like a fit, the next step is a short call, your insurance certificate, and two references we can telephone.
