Los Cabos
Desert meeting ocean, and a direct flight from most of the US.
Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo sit at either end of a twenty-mile corridor of resorts and villas. It is dramatic country — cliffs, cacti, and the Sea of Cortez on one side, open Pacific on the other — and it is the simplest destination wedding in the Americas to get guests to, because the flights are short and plentiful.
What a week actually costs
Indicative shapes, not quotes — an advisor verifies real prices for your exact dates before anything is offered.
Under $5,000 for the week
Two people in San José del Cabo off-resort, a rental car, a whale-watching morning and a day on the East Cape.
$18,000–45,000
A corridor villa with a pool and a chef, a fishing or sailing charter, a spa day, transport handled.
$90,000+
A full wedding week with a rehearsal dinner on the water, a cliffside ceremony, production and guest shuttles.
What to watch for
- Most Pacific-side beaches are not swimmable. Undertow is serious. Know which beach your property is on.
- Wind picks up in the afternoon in winter. It decides your ceremony hour and whether florals stay standing.
- The corridor is spread out. Everything needs a driver, and guests underestimate this.
- September sits in hurricane season. Insurance, again.
